Halloween Reading

13 Tales cover KindleHey, all, proud to present my latest release 13 TALES TO GIVE YOU NIGHT TERRORS. This is a horror anthology with authors from England, Scotland and America. Stories range from 1000 words to 6000. I have two stories included in the collection.

We’ve had our first review on Goodreads 5 stars: “I absolutely loved these although they did not actually give me night terrors (And I did make a point to read them at night, in the dark). I also loved that in the last story they added various trinkets from all of the preceding stories.”

In Waiting For The Wolf, a college student is stalked by a costumed street performer.

In Blackened Fireworks, paranoia seizes a party hardy teen.

I also may have edited the whole thing with Joshua Winning. So kinda proud there, too!

You get the FREE ebook right now at Smashwords, Barnes & Noble, Nook and the iStore.

And because Amazon hasn’t updated their files, you can also get the ebook over there for a whopping 99 cents.

Perfection (Mad World, Book 3) released

Perfection 333x500Hello all, very happy to announce the third book in the YA paranormal series Mad World is now available wherever ebooks are sold. Well, maybe not every single on-line store, but a good chunk of them – Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Smashwords, the iStore, etc.

The first review, at Offbeat YA gave Perfection 4 out of 5 stars, calling it a rich and layered addition to the series.

The Mad World series follows teenagers dealing with abnormal problems (be they mental or magical, or sometimes both).

If you’re like me, and wouldn’t necessarily dive into the third book in a series, then check out Wakefield (Mad World, Book 1) at Amazon.

And if you’re also like me and want even more info before committing to a series, check out Mad World Headquarters.

(Then I’d read the books and tell me friends. Just saying.)

Wakefield now on sale

Feel like reading an 80,000 word Young Adult novel but you don’t want to pay $5.95 for it? Then good news. From now until November 3, Wakefield (Mad World, Book 1) from MuseItUp Publishing is on sale for only $0.99.

Wakefield Book CoverBlurb: Orphans Astrid Chalke and Max Fisher meet when they’re sent to live at Wakefield, a residential and educational facility for teens with psychiatric and behavioral problems. Astrid’s roommate cuts herself with anything sharp she can get her hands on and Max’s roommate threatens him upon introduction.

Just as Astrid and Max develop a strong bond and begin to adjust to the constant chaos surrounding them, a charming and mysterious resident of Wakefield named Teddy claims he has unexplainable abilities. Sometimes he can move things without touching them. Sometimes he can see people’s voices flowing out of their mouths. Teddy also thinks that some of the Wakefield staff are on to him.

At first, Astrid and Max think Teddy is paranoid, but Max’s strange recurring dreams and a series of unsettling events force them to reconsider Teddy’s claims. Are they a product of his supposedly disturbed mind or is the truth stranger than insanity?

Control Room 333x500

The Locked Door Series is MuseItUp Publishing’s version of the Twilight Zone. Each short story stands alone, is written by a different author, and is meant to make you keep the lights on when you go to bed. In this story, recent college graduate Bethany finds herself living back at home and facing a mountain of school loans.

To make ends meet, Bethany accepts a job watching live footage from a supposedly haunted building. The owner wants them to find evidence of the ghost he believes killed his daughter decades before.

As the days progress and Bethany spends more time watching the residents of the apartment, she finds herself drawn deeper into the history of the building and the lives of its people.

When strange occurrences begin stacking up, Bethany suspects something paranormal may be happening in the old apartment building after all. Can she distance herself in time, or has the watcher already fallen under the apartment’s spell?

Available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, the iTunes bookstore, Smashwords, MuseItUp Publishing, and lots more.
